Google Searches on "Monica Pignotti" are now bringing up this false digg.com article fourth, so I want to once again point out that this digg.com is itself a libelous article (I am not being sued for defamation or anything else) that Digg has refused to remove. They refuse to remove this even though I told them it was false and pointed out to them that there was no evidence or documentation of any kind to support this allegation that I am being sued because I am not being sued. Apparently their idea of "free speech" is allowing outright lies to remain up even when no evidence whatsoever exists to support them, so I give a big thumbs down to Digg.com. Googling my name will also reveal that I have cyberstalkers who are posting bizarre ads about me all over the internet. Fortunately, unlike Digg.com, Craigslist and Backpage are able to recognize spam and harassment when it is pointed out to them and they are deleting these articles as I make them aware of them. So kudos to Craigslist and Backpage and thumbs down to Digg dot com.
The Digg article is supposed to link to evidence, but it does not. All it links to is my own blog. There is no evidence because, in fact, I am not being sued for defamation or anything else. The article is false and all it links to is my blog that states that it is false. There are people online who are very upset by my criticisms of them who have threatened to sue, but the threats are unsubstantiated and when I have called their bluff, they have not sued because they know they would have no case against me.
For people who wonder how this whole situation came about, I have published a number of articles criticizing what, in my opinion and the opinion of numerous others are unsupported therapy practices that can sometimes do more harm than good. This, of course, is seen as a threat by people who promote such approaches, but instead of issuing any kind of intelligent rebuttal, they spam the internet with ads about me that contain outright lies. Many of the ads are being circulated by proponents of dangerous forms of "attachment" therapies which attack my colleagues and I for exposing these. See http://www.chidrenintherapy.org for more about this.
